Get Outside !

It's a new day get outside and enjoy the Day!

Every day we have is a Gift.

Especially here in the North Country.

Good Weather is always short lived.

I was reminded of this again yesterday while at work. I watched as other Call providers made their

way to our base of Operations. First Stop ....... A computer (We have Three).

Guess what site?

FACEBOOK.    Facebook for me is a way to stay in touch with friends far away.

I am not a "Drama Guy "I am an "Intel Guy".

I am also a Private Person and  I am quite aware  that some utilize Facebook as a Form of "Venting"

Some Facebook to "Air their dirty laundry".

Not a Fan but to each their own.

Perhaps that is why I Blog (Thank You Sarah).

My Point .......  Here is an idea.   Instead of parking your butt in front of a computer to see what the

latest local Drama is  or who is mad at who how about living outside of "The Box" ....Just Sayi'n

.

As I type.... Sorry Keyboard these thoughts my Daughter Torrie is out of the shower.

Pandora Radio was on she comes over and changes it to Fan boy and Chum ,Chum.

Time to eat Breakfast and get outside out of this box (The Computer) and the bigger box (TV) and

GET OUTSIDE!

Later we are going outside to Live and Play!

Life Live it !

Every Day I am above ground I am Thankful.

Life is a gift from a higher power.

I try to Honor each day.

Not every day is a great one but it is still a gift to you and is your choice as how you choose to live or waste it.

In my profession we as providers make great sacrifices with little or no recognition.

A force moves thru us which compels us to help those in need.

I believe because of this our taste for life and living is an insatiable one.

Many of us are intense, in our quest to live.

A can do attitude with an adapt and overcome philosophy helps us to move thru and solve others problems.

For those of us with families  our loved ones endure great sacrifices.

Loss of time and memorable life / Family moments so others may benefit from our  ability to help them.

During this Holiday Season Give a Gift that does not cost anything.

Take a moment and Thank a Public Safety Worker.

EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, and Military

Thank Them and Their Family's for their sacrifice for you and your Family's Safety and Freedom.

Over a year since I have written so much has happened the loss of my Mom, Sheryl's Mom and Nana.

Life is a circle.

Moved back to New Hampshire, working full-time for Dale Girard and part-time at WRVA in Bethel VT.

Torrie is 7 years old, we have two new additions (four legged) Bru a full blooded Boxer and Danger a black and white cat.

After not writing or blogging, I made a promise to myself that I would access and write in my blogs mission accomplished.

Now to keep it up. After Mom's passing I lost the desire to write or blog I had lost my greatest Fan and Mentor.

I realize now the great disservice I have done by not writing for myself and to my Mom.

Perhaps this was part  of the grieving process. Cast adrift I have found my way back to myself.

I have written many times that when I don't write I lose a piece of myself.

At 52 I feel I can't afford to lose anymore of myself. Wish me Luck. Bye for now. Live every day like it was your last.

Timothy

P.S Thanks Mom!

Wednesdays My Last Day Off Before My Monday Begins

Wednesday "Hump Day" for normal working people, No one has ever accused me of being "Normal"I fell out of my parent's maple tree forty (40) years ago.

Our youngest daughter Torrie pounds on the keys of her Fischer Price Children's Keyboard awaiting the use of this computer.

Patience is not one of Torrie's virtues.

Buddy Our Hound half Blue tick half beagle is currently correcting our other hound Cherokee a boar striped Dachshund.

Torrie is five going on to twenty five. At Times pushing all of daddy's buttons at once. This past week we have all been sick Torrie taking the worst of it. Stomach Bug.
Feeling claustrophobic in our apartment therefore I will be getting ready to do something before I burn up my day off.

Later all ...........oh by the way I have started the process of looking for the path to publish at least one book.

A day Off

Monday is my Saturday as my sister once observed, My Shift Bid for a Nationally Recognized Ambulance Service. This has been a long tour of duty. My usual shift is Thursday, Friday, Staurday, and Sunday. Saturday I was "ordered in " for the midnight to 8am shift. On Saturday at 8 I was informed that there was a "Book Off" restriction translated I have 6 hours off before I am scheduled to return to work.

In that time frame I have to drive home, eat something and try to sleep and explain to my 5 year old that Daddy can't play or visit with her right now. This does not include my relationship with my wife or immediate family. .............No Time.

I love my proffession, however I often wonder if the general public realizes or even cares the price Public safety providers and their families pay so that they may be served when their needs arise?

When do my families get their turn? their needs met by their Father/Husband/Son/Brother/Friend?

"A Day Off" never a weekend, but sacred to all involved Bye for Now off to enjoy our day.
